Chubais said that hydrogen production has great potential for the Far East and the Arctic

Russia can obtain up to $40 billion by 2030 by supplying 6 to 10 million tons of hydrogen to the world market, said Anatoly Chubais, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International Organizations to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals.

In his opinion, Russia has great prospects for the development of hydrogen energy - the production of all types of hydrogen, its transportation and storage. Russia has huge advantages in this industry. We have technologies, competencies and a huge resource base. Russia can become a pioneer and leader in the sphere of hydrogen energy, reports RG.RU.

According to Chubais, the Far East and the Arctic have great potential in the production of hydrogen, where tidal, solar and wind power plants can be used for this. This, among other things, will bring to these regions such investments that it has not received for decades, Chubais stressed.
