MCSP put two conveyors into operation

The conveyors are used for intra-warehouse movement of bulk cargo

As part of the implementation of the technical renovation program, MCSP (Murmansk Commercial Sea Port) tested and put two new modern conveyors into operation. This was reported by the press service of the stevedoring company.

The conveyors are used for intra-warehouse movement of bulk cargo; they are equipped with a full electric drive. The new equipment is characterized by high efficiency when working at temperatures to below 35 degrees, which is essential for operation in winter.

“The new equipment meets all the current environmental and safety requirements,” said Yevgeny Gulyaev, technical director of MCSP.

Murmansk Commercial Sea Port is a stevedoring company in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. It is part of the structure of the National Transport Company (NTC), the key partners of which are SUEK and MCC EuroChem.

MCSP provides year-round communication with the most important logistics centers around the world.

National Transport Company (NTC), whose key partners are SUEK, EuroChem and SGK, acts as the Managing Company of Murmansk Commercial Sea Port. At the end of 2020, the transport assets of SUEK and Eurochem, which are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, were transferred to the management of the newly created operator company, NTC. More than 100,000 people work at the enterprises of SUEK, Eurochem, SGK and NTC. The main shareholder is Andrey Melnichenko.
