A transshipment complex for the Vostok Oil project is planned to be created in Arkhangelsk

In Arkhangelsk, it is planned to build terminals and sites for storage and handling of structures for the Vostok Oil project.  As a PortNews IAA correspondent reported, Viktor Ikonnikov, deputy prime minister of the Arkhangelsk Region, minister of economic development, industry and science of the region, said this during the IX International Forum “Arctic Projects: Today and Tomorrow” held in Arkhangelsk.

According to him, as part of the project, it is planned to reload pipes, metal structures, structures of the tank farm, auxiliary metal-consuming elements.

“The project expects large volumes of transshipment, and today our companies are preparing to build new terminals, berths, and purchase equipment,” said the regional minister.
